Here's a poem... it's a weird one I wrote:

None

By Cody Craig (that’s me)

I have no confession

other than the vibrations

I have offered to the mother.

The Lord Christ and Lucifer

sit as brother and sister

at the feet of Pythagoras

hoping to escape the angles

pressing into the neck

of Cleopatra’s only son,

the asp of a man

who makes blood into gold.

I am the translucent one

who stares back from the waters

when you seek solace

in the lover’s reflection.

Notice me and my heart

as I take in the most subtle part

of your honest perfection.

Hold me mother,

press me down

I am grist for the mill.

Apply heat.

Apply pressure.

I am built of layers

only because the mathematician

taught me wisdom before logic.
